Make plans now for brighter, warmer days
ahead in Orlando
Banish the winter blues with thoughts of
warm sunshine by making plans now for a week in Orlando, FL, in
June. Registration has begun for the Clean Show, which runs
from June 23-26 at the Orange County Convention Center.
Attendees are encouraged to register
online at the Clean Show web site: www.cleanshow.com. Registration forms will also be published
in brochures to be mailed early this year. Clean ’05
registration is available at Clean ’03 prices: $45 per
person for those who sign up by June 1. Children 17 and under
will get in free, but they must register and receive a badge.
Hotel reservations also can be arranged
through the web site. Clean ’05 has a block of rooms at
nine hotels in Orlando and each sponsoring association has a
headquarters hotel. Room rates range from $69 to $165 a night
at the show’s hotels. The reservation deadline for rooms
at those rates is May 23.
“Nearly 200,000 net square feet of
exhibit space is contracted, and we anticipate a surge of
activity after the first of the year when 2005 budgets become
effective,” said John Riddle, president of Riddle &
Associates, the show’s management company.
Clean ’03 in Las Vegas drew 16,526
people from 82 countries. More than 250,000 net square feet of
exhibit space were filled by 538 exhibiting companies. The last
Clean Show in Orlando, held there in 1999, drew about 20,000
people and over 600 exhibiting companies.
This year’s show will begin its
four-day run on Thursday with exhibits opening each day at 9
a.m. The hall will be open until 5 p.m. on the first three days
and until 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The six cosponsoring trade associations
will offer educational sessions from 8 to 10 a.m. on all four
days.
The Clean Show is the world’s
largest exhibition of textile care equipment and products and
is among the top 100 trade shows in North America.
The sponsoring trade associations include
the Coin Laundry Association, International Fabricare
Institute, National Association of Institutional Linen
Management, Textile Care Allied Trades Association, Textile
Rental Services Association of America, and Uniform &
Textile Service Association.
In addition to the web site, show
information is also available by contacting Riddle &
Associates, Suite 360-C, 1874 Piedmont Road, Atlanta, GA 30324;
phone (404) 876-1988, fax (404) 876-5121; e-mail info@cleanshow.com.
