The compact P.E.T. II is based on an eight-inch square pedestal with a pneumatic operated telescoping post that raises to 113 inches for long garments to give operators easy access from the collar to the hem for finishing or touch-up with the Cissell all-purpose steam iron that is included in the system.

With the adjustable hanger, the garment can be quickly positioned over a form finisher, clamped in place and tensioned by elevating the hanger. A tension gauge on the hanger lets the operator adjust the amount of tensions applied to each garment while the “Suzie” supplies the steam and air to finish it.

The height control for the telescoping post also has a speed control that not only allows more precision when tensioning the garment it also lets the operator control the lowering speed, making extra-long garments more manageable as they are being removed.

The system has a complete set of forms and clamps that tuck away under the built-in iron caddy.

EAST BERLIN, CT — The EDRO Corp. has introduced the next model in its OPL range of high speed open pocket rigid mount series: the NX40.

The new model features a 6.5-cu.-ft. basket and is equipped with a programmable computer controlled single motor variable speed drive with a choice of four extract speeds up to 209G.

Other features include a manual soap chute with five ports for external chemical connections, and stainless steel finish. The model is designed to fit through a standard 36-inch door without removing the door jam. The machine can also be equipped with the company’ onboard ozone system, DynOzone - DynaWash Ozone System.

The programmable computer control features WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) programming technology instead of complicated codes and it comes standard with a constant real-time display information of temperature, step and program time as well as water selection and water level status, chemical and auxiliary signal status, step programmable wash cadence, pause/soak and optional water reuse and ozone.

The control also features two operating modes through use of a security key-switch, as well as a stand-alone manual operation mode that allows for machine operation without programming. In addition, during machine operation, manual over-rides of hot and cold water, drain, heat, rapid step advance and step time adjustment are available.

The control memory includes 51 programs. The 38 factory-loaded pre-programmed wash formulas can be edited at any time with use of the security key-switch.
