CLA announces 2005 seminars in Las Vegas, Dallas
The Coin Laundry Association will be launching its 2005 seminar series early in the year with stops in Nevada and Texas.
The group has planned a pair of two-day educational Laundry Management Conferences. The first will take place from February 25-26 at Bally’s Las Vegas, located at 2645 Las Vegas Blvd. South. The other will be March 11-12 at the Westin Galleria Dallas at 1330 Dallas Parkway.
Both conferences will have a similar setup featuring a Friday session on how to “Grow Your Laundry IQ” that will run all day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Attendees will learn how to tackle key problems that face every laundry owner. Topics will include: strategic business analysis; solving tough employee problems; creating the ideal customer experience; marketing on a budget; and how and when to upgrade equipment.
On the second day of the seminar series, CLA will discuss “Coin Laundry: Basics for Beginners” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Those coming into the industry, or who have just recently entered into it, should make a point of attending. A variety of issues will be covered: evaluating an investment in the laundry business; buying a laundry vs. building new; finding the right location for your laundry; and a day in the life of a laundry owner.
Also, a coin laundry panel of experts will be on hand to answer questions from the audience.
Registrations fees for each day of seminars are $179 for CLA members and $229 for non-members. The costs include admission to the day’s scheduled seminars, as well as all accompanying materials and a networking buffet luncheon.
Hotel accommodations for the Las Vegas conference are available at a rate of $129 per night at the Bally’s Hotel Call (800) 634-3434 by January 25.
Those attending in Dallas can call the Westin directly at (800) 228-3000 by February 10 for a rate of $149 nightly.
For information on either conference, call (877) CLA-IDEA.
