Biz Builder plans one-day seminar in Orlando
On March 19, Biz Builder Services will be in Orlando, Florida to give cleaners “The ABC’s of Managing.”
The program will be presented at the Holiday Inn Select from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. It is designed to help owners who want to make more money in the drycleaning industry by working smarter, not harder.
Those who attend will learn the answers to questions such as: should you manage people with your head or your heart and how can you lower labor costs?
In addition to gaining a better understanding on how to establish production standards, cleaners will learn how to improve quality and implement incentive programs.
Pricing for profit will be taught, as well, with an emphasis on calculating the right cost per piece.
Personnel issues will also be on the agenda, so managers/owners can gain tips on how to manage their employees better, making sure they keep their good employees and improve their overall communications.
The cost to attend is $349 for a single applicant; however, the price goes down to $299 for each additional applicant from the same plant. That cost includes breakfast, lunch and all needed materials.
