ATLANTA, GA — Signature Dry Cleaning Network is expanding its reward program beyond the Upromise Program to include a national airline miles program with its drycleaning partners.

The airline program will let frequent flyer members earn one additional mile for every dollar they spend at a participating drycleaner. The company said more than 800 drycleaners have enrolled in the program.

The program will help cleaners bring in new customers and enhance customer loyalty.

Airline members will register their credit or debit cards and purchase services from the participating cleaner. Both the cleaner and the customer receive a monthly report detailing the qualified purchases. Signature Channels manages all of the program administration for the participating cleaners. Participating merchants only incur costs after a registered airline member qualifies for a program; there are no up-front costs for the merchant.

Signature Channels also provides credit/debit card linked reward programs to drycleaners, including the Upromise College Savings program which is available to drycleaning consumers in more than 1,500 zip codes in 40 states.

The company expects that by late this year more than 50 million frequent flyer mile earners from the top four U.S. airlines will be able to earn miles at more than 2,000 drycleaning merchants.

The company also helps save money on credit/debit card transaction fees by aggregating the combined transaction volume of participating cleaners.
