“Brainstorming with the Best”
conference in Las Vegas
The beginning of the year is a time to
reflect on the past and make resolutions for the future.
Cleaners seeking to do exactly that with their business may
want to simplify the process by attending the National
Cleaners Association’s “Brainstorming
with the Best” conference.
The event will be held from January 12-15
at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel located in Las Vegas.
NCA will kick things off on Thursday
evening with a welcome reception high atop the Four Seasons
where attendees can enjoy a grand view of the Las Vegas Strip
while they network.
The first educational session of the
conference is slated to begin the following morning when John
DiJulius takes the podium from 9 a.m. until noon.
The owner and operator of the John
Roberts Hair Salons in Cleveland, OH, DiJulius will focus his
discussion on subjects such as how to get more referrals and
how to get customers to spend more dollars.
He will also examine the topic of
customer loyalty, something he knows plenty about since his own
multi-million dollar operation started off as a fledgling
beauty parlor only a short while ago. He hopes to share his
secrets with cleaners so that they can grow their business to
the next level, as well.
On Saturday morning, cleaners will want
to attend an enlightening session by Joyce Chupka. She received
her post graduate degree from Harvard’s Kennedy School of
Government and is an expert in applying the principles of Total
Quality Management (TQM) to employee development, commitment
and retention.
Chupka will demonstrate to attendees how
they can utilize the TQM process for managing quality and
getting employees committed to working toward higher goals.
Back by popular demand, NCA has set aside
some time for its Sunday morning session to allow cleaners to
brainstorm ideas amongst themselves, comparing notes and
sharing their own experiences.
All of the conference programs will
conclude by the day’s lunch time, allowing cleaners time
to relax, unwind and experience Las Vegas under their own terms
in the afternoon.
Registration fees for the conference are
$595 for members and $695 for non-members. Spouses may also
attend for a cost of $245 each.
The registration costs include admission
to all seminars, the welcome reception and networking
breakfasts planned for each morning. Training materials are
also counted into the cost.
Those who wish to procure rooms at the
Four Seasons can take advantage of a special room rate of $310
a night extended to NCA guests. The Four Seasons is a Five
Diamond hotel, which means its one of only 82 hotels that have
met a prerequisite level of extraordinary customer service and
excellence. Over 5,000 hotels have been evaluated for the award
designation.
Cleaners who wish to reserve more modest
hotel accommodations can capitalize on an NCA rate secured with
Luxor Las Vegas. Those who stay will be charged $119 for
Thursday night, $189 for Friday night, and $209 for Saturday
night.
Of course, there are numerous other guest
accommodations available on the Strip, as well. However,
cleaners who wish to reserve rooms at the aforementioned hotels
should call Ann Hargrove at (800) 888-1622.
