RIPON, WI — UniMac offers more capacity with the newest addition to its line of washer-extractors, the UW150PV.

The new washer-extractor’s cylinder is the largest in the industry within its category. This additional capacity reduces the number of wash cycles per day, saving as much as 10 percent in water over other models. The door opening, nearly 25 inches, makes it easier and faster to load and unload linens. The door opening height is designed to make it easy for operators to load and unload.

With extraction speeds measuring up to 300 G-Force, the amount of moisture left in wash loads is reduced, minimizing drying time. The computer control senses drain time completion while advancing to the next step in the wash cycle. The four fast-fill water valves fill much faster, saving time on every cycle. The frequency drive system gradually and efficiently ramps up to extraction speed.

Standard features include temperature controlled fill, thermal cool down, overnight soak, overflow rinse, stainless steel construction, brass fill valves, polypropylene chemical supply dispenser, programmable drive system and two wash speeds.

The washer is engineered for quality and durability, from the heavy-duty A-frame to the low maintenance V-Belt Drive. UniMac supports its washers with a five-year warranty on the frame, basket, shaft, bearings and seals. A full three-year warranty is issued on all other parts.

PATERSON, NJ — Pariser Industries has announced Aqua-Velvet, a one-shot wetcleaning product that combines an acid-based detergent to inhibit dye loss on “dryclean only” fabrics, stain and oil removers and fabric conditioners. It also provides garments with a fresh and clean smelling fragrance.

Aqua-Velvet is compatible with all serviceable fabrics, including suedes. Its one-shot nature virtually eliminates the need for liquid injection equipment and inventory concerns associated with the multiple products.

Pariser said the product is effective in a wide range of water temperatures and allows for shorter cleaning cycles and reduced water usage.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Kaeser Eco-Drains prevent water, oil and dirt trapped by compressed air tanks, moisture separators, dryers, and filters from building up and contaminating expensive equipment.
