Dennis Barr, 45, who was the sales manager for the Dry Cleaner and Small Quantity Generator divisions of MCF Systems, died Dec. 31. He had been with MCF Systems Atlanta Inc. and MCF Environmental Services Inc. for 10 years.

His death came at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta after a brief illness.

Mr. Barr was a graduate of Glynn Academy, Jones college Radio and Coastal community college. He also attended Shorter college in Atlanta. After college he worked as an announcer and program director at radio stations in Brunswick, Jacksonville, Hilton Head and Albuquerque.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy H. Barr of Brunswick, GA; brother, Frank D. Barr of Roswell, GA; a sister, Linda B. Russell of Orlando; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held this spring. The family requests that donations in his memory be made to the LDS Missionary Fund, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3631 Community Rd., Brunswick, GA 31520.
