Korean-sponsored show
expects 5,000 attendees |

Over 5,000 professional cleaners and coin laundry owners from all over the USA
and Korea are expected to attend the
Cleaners & Launderers Expo USA 2006 from June 16 to 18.
The event, which is sponsored by the Federation of Korean Dry Cleaners
Association, will be held at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in
Edison, NJ.
The exhibit hall will feature some of the latest technological innovations the
industry has to offer. It will be open to the general public from noon to 6
p.m. on Friday, June 16, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday,
June 17 and 18.
Also during the weekend, FKDA will host several educational sessions, which will
be free to all attendees. The first will begin on Friday morning at 9 a.m. It
will cover wetcleaning and be presented by Rudie Smit. He will offer
wetcleaning seminars on the following two days, as well, starting at 9 a.m. on
Saturday and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Many of the seminars will be repeated so cleaners can adjust their schedules
accordingly.
On Friday, David Jang will present a seminar at 10 a.m. entitled “BNB is Here to Help You Get a Loan.” He will speak on the same subject again the following day at 10 a.m. Also on
Friday in the 10 a.m. slot, cleaners can see a separate informative session
covering the topic of
“EM Cleaning System and Technology” by Robert Lee. He will repeat his seminar on Saturday at 10 a.m. and Sunday at
9:30 a.m.
Jay Kwon will present a Saturday session on “Environmental Consulting for Dry Cleaners at 10 a.m. and a Sunday session at
9:30 a.m.
There will be two new seminars on Sunday. The topic of “Rynex” will be examined at 9:30 a.m. Simultaneously, there will be a seminar on “Proposed NJ Regulations Banning PERC for Dry Cleaning.”
