Allbrooks to teach IFI/SDA customer service seminar
The International Fabricare Institute and the Southwest Drycleaners Association will be working in conjunction to present a seminar on “The Basics of Customer Service” on Thursday, July 20, in Arlington, Texas.
The event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at La Quinta Conference Center, located at 825 N. Watson Rd.
Teaching the class will be Chris Allsbrooks, who will bring with her 14 years of experience as a garment analyst at IFI’s International Textile Analysis Laboratory. In that time, she has appeared on several local news channels, the BBC, and various national television broadcasts, including ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
Allsbrooks frequently speaks at various educational seminars and conferences for the industry, including the Clean Show. She has a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising and textile marketing.
During her seminar, she will help attendees learn what their customers want and expect, as well as how to develop effective strategies to deal with the public in order to build customer loyalty for life.
The seminar is not simply for counter personnel; everyone in a cleaning facility can produce a better produce if they know what their customers need and expect from them.
Those interested in attending should sign up prior to the July 7 deadline.
The cost is $35 for members; however, the cost goes down to $25 each for three or more attendees from the same member plant.
Non-members must pay $40.
To register for the event, call (800) 638-2627. For directions on how to get to La Quinta Conference Center, call (817) 828-9031.
