IFI expands insurance plan
to 20 more states
The International Fabricare Institute has announced that a full line of comprehensive insurance now will be offered in the 20 states where the IFI-endorsed NIE plan is not available. In those 20 states, insurance will be offered through Irving Weber Associates and Great Central Insurance Co.
IFI said that Irving Weber Associates and Great Central Insurance are the nation’s largest specialty insurer to the fabric care industry. IWA has been providing comprehensive business insurance, automobile, workers’ compensation and pollution liability insurance to the industry for 60 years. IWA also has operated the only national workers’ compensation safety group for the industry, IFI said. That program has returned uninterrupted dividends to participants since the group was formed. IFI members can call Keith Camacho at IWA, (800) 243-1811, ext. 8210, for more information. He can also be reached by e-mail at keith@iwains.com.
The 20 states covered by the program include Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, West Virginia, Indiana, Louisiana, North and South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii.
