Eight new members who recently joined the ranks of the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists received training and orientation at the association’s national training center under the guidance of Ken Grippi, general manager of
Dependable Cleaners in Boston, MA.
The association serves as both a marketing cooperative and a buying cooperative
for its members. Its trademarked MuseumCare preservations are endorsed by the
Association of Bridal Consultants.
New members include Jim Gilligan of Snedicor’s Cleaners in Brighton and Howell, MI; Josh Ellis of Bella Cleaners in Fort
Worth, TX; Tami Parks of Great Lakes Wedding Gown Specialists in Holland, MI;
Danny Renteria of The Cleaning Company in Tyler, TX; Kurt Lucero of The
Cleanery in Albuquerque, NM; Dave Mathews of Janet Davis Dry Cleaners in
Bloomfield Hills and Berkley, MI; Jim Rossman of Anderson Cleaners in St. Paul,
MN; and Michael Przyborski of Town and Country Cleaners in Sealy, TX.
Snedicor’s Gilligan said his company joined because “membership brings us to the highest level of professionalism for wedding gown
preservation and restoration.
“We were very impressed with the number of prestigious cleaners around the
country who are already affiliated with the association, and we also know the
association
’s gown care label program and its high-ranking website will add power to our own
marketing programs,
” he added.
According to Marty Wade, president of the association, all members are all
Certified Wedding Gown Specialists who receive benefits from the group
’s trademarked logos, promotions and referrals.
