TCATA announces trio of speakers for Silverado
Cleaners who head to Napa, CA, for the Textile Care Allied Trades Association’s 2007 conference will have an opportunity to enjoy programs by three interesting
speakers.
The event will be held from Aug. 1-4 at the Silverado Resort.
TCATA has recruited a trio of unique speakers to headline its educational
program, including John
“Dr. Revenue” Haskett, a nationally-known marketing and sales expert.
During his address, he will help attendees conduct a CAT Scan on their business.
Using his wealth of knowledge and real world experience, he
’ll diagnose the problem and prescribe an RX to improve its sales and marketing
efforts.
Haskett utilizes a practical — not theoretical — approach so many of his ideas can be implemented almost immediately
Also on TCATA’s schedule is Alan Beaulieu of the Institute for Trend Research who will
forecast both short term and long term economic trends in the U.S. and abroad,
and, more importantly, how they will likely affect your company.
Those expecting a dry, boring seminar will be in for a surprise as Beaulieu’s presentation mixes humor and common sense, explaining business cycles in a
captivating manner.
He will also talk about specific management objectives well-suited for the
future, so businesses of all sizes will be able to make economic decisions
confidently and accurately.
Thinking of the future is also the topic of TCATA’s third program, which will be presented by David Forman of the Private
Consulting Group.
He will focus his discussions on family business succession, posing the
question: Do you have the necessary planning in place to protect your family
and your business?
He will provide practical information designed to help family business owners
survive the generation jump. He will emphasize many topics, including: asset
protection, income tax minimization, wealth succession and management.
In addition to the educational programs, TCATA has planned several other
activities.
On Wednesday, the association will host a board of directors meeting, as well as
an opening reception and a First Timers reception. Specific details on will be
made available on TCATA
’s web site, www.tcata.org, in the near future.
On Thursday, attendees will be able to take part in a golf or tennis tournament,
if they prefer.
The conference will conclude on Saturday following a closing reception and
dinner event.
