CLA offers results
of customer survey
The Coin Laundry Association is releasing results from its 2007 Customer Profile Survey.
“The results contained in this survey are vital for all laundry owners and distributors, ” said Brian Wallace, president and CEO of the Coin Laundry Association. “This is the only national survey that profiles our customers. Knowing the customer base enables laundry owners to make smart decisions about marketing their services to new customers and increase sales to current customers. ”
Survey results are broken down by customer/non-customer, home owner/renter and “most likely to use drop-off service” responses. The 21-question survey was designed and conducted by Readex Research, an external research agency, and includes questions regarding number of loads of laundry per week, type of machine typically used at a laundry, likelihood of buying specific services and products, and most disliked aspects of doing laundry.
The 2007 survey was updated to include a profile of people most likely to use drop-off laundry services. A white paper, which was available at the Clean Show in Las Vegas, tells how to best reach these clients.
CLA members can access the results and data interpretation online at coinlaundry.org. The survey is also available for purchase through the association.
CLA is also offering web-only specials on bundled products this fall. Products will change weekly over two months from September 17 to November 12.
“We have a lot of new products that offer both potential investors and long-standing laundry owners fresh ideas, ” said Michelle Comer, CLA’s Director of Communications and Marketing. “Our ‘Save a Bundle. Buy a Bundle.’ program gives customers the opportunity to purchase select products at a discount while increasing their reference libraries. ”
Items included in the bundles are newly released audio CDs from seminars and archived issues of The Journal from 2004, 2005 and 2006.
