PATERSON, NJ — Pariser Industries, Inc., has introduced Citrazyme, a one-shot powdered detergent that combines enzymes, a citrus based degreaser and a safe-to-color oxygen bleach component in conjunction with a low temperature bleach catalyst effective in water temperatures of 115 ° to 140°F.

This merging of enzyme technology with lower temperature wash chemistry allows for a balance of energy-efficient washing with broad spectrum stain removal characteristics. Also, pre-treating of collars and cuffs is virtually eliminated due to the citrus based degreasing component.

Citrazyme is also effective in hard water conditions and the broad range of temperatures typically found in on-premise laundries. It can also be used to cold-water wash an array of textiles, including comforters, khakis and other garments which would otherwise be adversely affected by caustic or high water temperatures.

Citrazyme is packaged in 50-lb. plastic pails.

NOVATO, CA — The Collarite Collar Shaper is designed to prevent collar rollover by lifting, locking and supporting the finished collar, preserving the finished shirt collar from pressing through assembling and packaging.

The collar shaper works in hangered shirts as as well as boxed or folded ones. It is easy to use and can be applied in seconds. No additional metal tabs or adhesives are needed.

Custom one- or two-collar printing is available for creating an eye-level advertising message.

DALLAS, TX — Clean Concepts has announced the introduction of the new model 317 multi-finisher. This unit will process wet or dry small women's blouses, long and short sleeve men ’s shirts up to 5X, lab coats, and other dryclean items.

Little or no touch up is required, the company said. The front paddle lays down out of the way for easy loading and unloading.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Liberty-Pittsburgh Systems has introduced Time In A Box preservation kits for wedding gowns or heirlooms.

The preservation kits are made with acid-free, chemical-free, archival quality polymer. The moisture-resistant box is designed with folded corners that promote air flow so that moisture does not become trapped inside.

The box closes snugly without tape or glue.

The kits are packaged five in case with each kit including an acid-free polymer chamber measure 34" x 24" x 8"; an acid-free unbuffered tissue to be placed between layers and amongst folds of the heirlooms; a triple-washed unbleached muslin liner to be draped on the inside of the box and folded over the garments; a cotton muslin cover to provide an elegant appearance; and cotton gloves to wear while handling the garments.
