TAMPA, FL — Unipress Corp. has announced

its new V3 Versaform Plus. This new model handles a wide range of garments, including blouses as small as size 2 and up to a size 20 man’s shirts.

The V3 is capable of processing drycleaned, wetcleaned or laundered garments with the simple touch of a button. The easy-to-use key pad allows the operator to change programs with one touch by selecting the type of garment to be processed — silk blouse, sport coat, dress, knit shirt, lab coat, cotton shirt, etc. The Versaform Plus does the rest, making it easy to go from a petite jacket to a full-length dress. It applies the right amount of tension, steam, and super heated air to beautifully finish the garment.

Simplified operating controls and ease of dressing minimizes operator training which increases production and improves quality.

The V3 features pneumatic controls for the short sleeves clamps, form height, arm adjustments and it automatically measures the length of the garment.

The Versaform Plus also has reversible cuff clamps which accommodate even the smallest of ladies blouses.

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL — The DF-740U Pants Topper from Sankosha is designed to provide quality pants pressing.

An exclusive steam injection system evenly circulates steam throughout both pant legs and the pant top so that little or no touch-up is required. Additional steam can be manually applied for

stubborn wrinkles.

Along with steam, super-heated forced air and cuff clamps are used to eliminate wrinkles. Sankosha’s automatic cuff length detection system determines pant length, clamps the cuff accordingly, and provides the necessary tension. The closing of these clamps traps steam and dry air within the pants. Pants of any length can be finished with the pant topper.

The DF-740U’s pneumatic pleat clamps are adjustable, swinging nearly 90º from the center position to the sides of the pants, making coverage of the pleats possible. This range of motion lets the operator set the clamps at varying positions, rather than a fixed position, regardless of the size of the pants. A toggle switch lets the operator select low or high clamp pressures according to fabric.

With the use of a foot pedal, a patented waist expander is incrementally adjusted to fit the pant waist. Furthermore, because pants are inflated with steam and air, stretching of material is not a problem. The DF-740U accommodates pant waist sizes from 23" to 47".

The DF-740U is safe — no hot heads are included — and easy to use. The limited number of controls require minimal operator training.

The DF-740U operates with wet or drycleaned pants. Cycle times are adjustable in either case, as is airflow.

The pants topper is compact, measuring 27.9" x 54.1" x 66.9", and is designed to work in conjunction with Sankosha’s KMP-860U Double Legger Press or the DP-150U Utility Legger Press.

TULSA, OK — Royaltone’s Prosuede Wet is a liquid detergent plus conditioner made for wetcleaning of suede, leather, trimmed cloth and cloth items, including silks and other color sensitive cloth items, without color bleed or stiffening.

The company said it is safe to use in any laundry washer.

Prosuede Wet is added to the wash cycle at two ounces per garment or four ounces per 10 pounds of garments to wetclean suede, leather or cloth garments trimmed with suede or leather. To wet clean color sensitive cloth items, use two ounces per 10 pounds.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The Coin Laundry Association is offering a revitalized Attendant Training Kit and a new Drop-off Service DVD.

The DVDs are professionally produced and contain both English and Spanish versions on a single disk. Each product includes additional training tools for the owner and attendant.

The Attendant Training Kit walks new attendants through the importance of professional service and laundry equipment. The kit contains customizable Microsoft Word forms in both English and Spanish. Forms include: sample attendant responsibilities; sample opening and closing procedures; important phone numbers; a customer complaint form; and a daily report.

The Drop-off Service Training shows attendants how to process orders from start to finish, including proper folding techniques. The product includes an owner’s manual for establishing a successful business and a laminated stain removal guide.
