Exhibit sales for Clean ’09, which will be held in New Orleans June 18-21, 2009, will begin this month.
The exhibitor prospectus will go out to Clean ’07 exhibitors during the first week in May. Exhibitors at other recent Clean
Shows and others who have expressed interest will receive a prospectus later in
the month.
Clean ’09 is putting together a hotel package with a range of rates at 18 New Orleans
hotels. Reservations through the New Orleans Housing Bureau will open in
August. Attendee promotion and show registration will begin in November.
“New Orleans is ready for us, and we are expecting to have a great show,” said John Riddle, president of Riddle & Associates, the show’s management company.
The Clean Executive Committee has visited New Orleans to make sure that the city
is prepared to host for Clean ’09.
“After visiting New Orleans with the Clean Executive Committee, we know that New
Orleans is certainly ready and capable to handle Clean ’09. We think the show will be better than ever,” said Roger Cocivera, Clean ’09 chairman and CEO of Textile Rental Services Association of America, one of
the Clean Show’s six sponsoring associations.
Other committee members and members of their association boards reported that
they were very impressed with the city’s upbeat atmosphere, cleanliness, and readiness to regain its position as a
major trade show venue.
In addition to TRSA, other show sponsors are the Association for Linen
Management, the Coin Laundry Association, the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute, the Textile Care Allied Trades Association, and the Uniform & Textile Services Association.
Formally known as the World Educational Congress for Laundering and Drycleaning,
the Clean Show is the world’s largest exhibition of working laundry and drycleaning equipment. Clean ’07 drew nearly 15,000 people from 82 countries outside the United States. Nearly
500 companies exhibited their products and services at the show in Las Vegas.
The show’s education component offers seminars on business management, technology and
environmental issues.
