HOLLYWOOD, CA — Two Hollywood entrepreneurs have introduced the Green Garmento drycleaning bag, a washable laundry bag that carries soiled clothes to the
drycleaner and transforms into a hanging garment bag that protects the clean
clothes for the trip home.
Two Green Garmento bags made from recyclable polypropylene, the same material
that large supermarket chains are offering, may be all a household needs for
two or three years. Drycleaners can either give them away, pass on the cost
through selling them or take a deposit from their customers.
The bags have a side zipper so customers can examine garments before leaving the
store. An outside plastic ticket pocket can be used to identify customers’ orders. The bags can be imprinted with the cleaner’s logo.
Small handles on each end of the bag allow it to hang on any hook or arm on a
wall. Since the fabric is very thin, the bags can be packed together in a tight
space for storage.
The bags will be sold directly to drycleaners and consumers.

Three-product laundry flush system
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Sunburst Chemicals has introduced the LFS3500 Laundry Flush System, a three-product laundry
system/flush delivery with control board that mixes flushing water with
dissolved solid chemicals to deliver the desired detergent concentration to the
washer.
The system provides consistent and accurate product delivery while eliminating
potential overflow problems, mixing of incompatible products, and chemical
spillage.
The LFS3500 system is designed to dispense Sunburst Chemicals’ solid laundry products. One capsule of solid product replaces up to six gallons of liquid product, which
reduces inventory and storage space requirements and product pilferage, and
increases employee safety. Solid product capsules are thoroughly rinsed and can
be recycled as easily as a milk container.
With stainless steel and ABS plastic construction, the LFS3500 dispensers are
designed for operation in demanding laundry applications. They are rated to
handle water temperatures up to 140°F, with a pressure range of 2.0 gal/min at 40 psi dynamic pressure. They require
a 120VAC power supply.

Restore suede and leather
TULSA, OK —Royaltone’s Suede Nu formula brings out the original deep rich color and imparts a soft lush
feel to all suedes and naked leathers by nourishing the skins. It also serves
as a carrying agent for Brit-N Dyes.
The company said that Suede Nu is excellent for sheepskin, cowhide and pigskin
suedes and naked leathers as well as trims on cloth as any overspray will not
discolor the adjacent cloth fabric.
Suede Nu is used by placing the garment on a hanger and spraying evenly and
liberally, using a hand sprayer, from a distance of six inches to bring out the
color and to impart a soft feel.
To restore the brightness to faded suede or naked leather garments, add Brit-N
dye to the Suede Nu and spray as above. After spraying suedes and naked
leathers, allow them to air dry or tumble in a cool tumbler. Royaltone tumbling
balls can be used to brush up the nap of the suede in the dryer. Finish on a
form finisher. Nap can be brushed up with a Royaltone suede mitt. Press and
brush with a Royaltone finishing brush to raise the suede nap.
Suede Nu may also be applied with a Royaltone air spray gun kit from a distance
of approximately six inches using existing plant air pressure.
