Registration open for Clean Show
On-line registration is open for Clean ’09 at the Clean Show’s web site, www.cleanshow.com.
Registration can be completed directly on line using a credit card. The form can also be printed out and mailed in for those who prefer to pay by check. Attendee brochures, which will include the registration form, will be mailed next month.
Attendees have until May 22 to register in advance for $60 per person. After that date, registration must be completed at the show and will cost $95 per person. The registration fee includes all educational sessions and access to the exhibit hall at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans all four days of the show beginning Thursday, June 18.
Reservations can also be made now at any of 18 designated hotels in the Clean Show housing block. All hotels are accessible to the French Quarter and the casino, and are within 1.5 miles of convention center.
Complimentary shuttle buses will transport attendees between official hotels and the convention center mornings and afternoons.
The headquarters for the Drycleaning and Laundry Institute will be the Hotel Monteleone. Reservations should be made directly with the hotel, (800) 535-9595 or (504) 523-3341.
Other show sponsors have designated the following headquarters hotels: Textile Care Allied Trades Association, Hilton Riverside; the Coin Laundry Association, Astor Crowne Plaza; the Textile Rental Services Associations, New Orleans Sheraton, the Uniform and Textile Service Association, New Orleans Marriott;  and the Association for Linen Management, Omni Royal Orleans.
In addition to these, general housing accommodations will be available at 12 other hotels, including the Country Inn & Suites, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn Convention Center, Holiday Inn French Quarter, Iberville Suites at Ritz-Carlton, International House, Loews, Residence Inn, The Ritz-Carlton, Royal Sonesta, St. Christopher Best Western, and the W hotel.

When making a reservation, identify the hotel and appropriate sponsor block.
The deadline for hotel reservations is May 15.

Look, Learn, Listen is the theme for Clean ’09, with a focus on learning from exhibits, industry peers and educational sessions. The show gives everyone from single-owner coin-operated laundry and drycleaning establishments to the largest industrial and institutional laundries an opportunity to look at what products and services that are new in the marketplace; learn about new technology from the manufacturers and suppliers of exhibited products, and listen to industry experts talk about trends, business management, and environmental issues.  
Show hours, seminars
Clean ’09 exhibits open on Thursday, June 18, with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. Distributor-only hours are 8 to 10 a.m. on opening day.  On the three following days the exhibit floor opens at 9 a.m.  Thursday through Saturday the floor closes at 5 p.m., and on Sunday. at 3 p.m.
Educational sessions will be presented from 8 to 10 a.m. on all four show days.  The show is expanding its educational component to include not only sessions presented by show sponsors, but also by seven other U.S. and international industry associations. U.S. associations include the American Reusable Textile Association, the Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council, and International Executive Housekeepers Association.
Canadian Cleaners and Launderers Allied Trades Association will also present sessions and the European Textile Services Association, headquartered in Belgium, and the Textile Services Association Ltd. of United Kingdom will collaborate with Cinet to provide educational sessions.
Clean ’07 in Las Vegas drew nearly 15,000 people and 484 exhibiting companies that covered 228,000 net square feet of exhibit space.
