Automated assembly

HUTTO, TX — Iowa Techniques has announced its Assembly Management System, which is an affordable option for cleaners to automate the assembly process.
The system electronically tracks garments and assembles orders; tagging and check-in only get done once.
The assembly conveyor features friction drive, making the equipment quiet, and the tracking system is easy to learn. The system can assemble 2,000 pieces in eight hours with one person, the company said, and it works with the cleaner’s existing POS system.
Models with a footprint of either 14' x 4'3" or 18' x 4'3" are available and the system can be expanded to accommodate growth.
