North Carolinians in need of an excellent introductory course on drycleaning will have two upcoming opportunities.
Instructor Martin Young, a certified DLI and AOE trainer, will be teaching “Drycleaning 101” tips on consecutive Saturdays, Feb. 21 and 28.

During the following week, on Saturday, Feb. 28, Young will present the program at Regency Dry Cleaners at 3912 University Dr. in Durham; the deadline for registration is Feb. 23.

The course provides a nice overview of the garment care industry with tips designed to help businesses be more productive, give more consistent quality and, ultimately, be more profitable.
Both sessions will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
The cost is $229 for non-members and $179 for each additional from same plant.
For NCALC/DLI members it is $179 for the first attendee and $129 for each additional.
It is worth two credits toward the Drycleaning and Laundry Institute’s Award of Excellence.
