NAPERVILLE, IL — R. R. Street & Co. Inc. has introduced Collar Power: Scrubs Out Collar and Cuff Grime.
Developed for shirt laundries, Collar Power is effective at removing oily dirt
commonly found on the collars and cuffs of laundered shirts, usually without
brushing. It can be applied with a foaming sprayer, from a spotting bottle or
brushed on out of a spotting bowl.
Collar Power can reduce laundry re-runs, aid soil and stain removal, and
increase productivity by providing extra cleaning power that lets drycleaners
produce a great looking shirt.
Botanical-based cleaning
Kansas City, MO — Faultless Laundry Products Group has introduced its new Green Laundry system, a
botanical-based cleaning system that was formulated under guidelines of the
U.S. EPA.
The company said the products provide optimal performance, environmental and
health characteristics with a price that is competitive with “non-green” alternatives.
Included in the system are the following products:
Rhythm, a concentrated laundry detergent that can be used in all washers and all
water conditions. It penetrates fabrics to clean right down to the fibers.
Rhythm can also be used as a stand-alone detergent.
Unison, a detergent builder that provides synergistic detergency action with
soil suspension properties. Its buffering properties aid in water softening and
soil suspension. It is concentrated and fast-rinsing and contains no NPEs or
EPA-priority pollutants.
Shine, a brightener that is an oxygen-based destainer with targeted bleaching action that removes protein and other oxidizable stains to provide cleaner, brighter
whites and colors without damaging fabrics.
Balance, a citrus neutralizer that prevents browning or dulling at the press.
The company said that each product on its own provides excellent results in its
respective role and is superior to most non-green alternatives. Used as a
system their performance is enhanced to produce optimal results, cleaning and
extending the life of the fabrics in a cost efficient manner. Each product is
available in five and 15-gallon containers.

Polyester shirt starch
TULSA, OK — Royaltone’s Starch Magic is a liquid starch that will starch polyester blend shirts easily
and effectively without building up or leaving starch marks, even on dark
colors
One ounce per ten pounds gives body to limp, polyester cotton blend shirts,
pants and slacks. It is added to the laundry washer starch cycle for a minimum
cycle of five minutes. It can be used in addition to regular starch used for
other fabrics.
For heavy starch add up to two ounces per ten pounds of laundry items.
Starch Magic ends customer complaints about no starch in polyester blend shirts
as it starches the polyester fibers that regular starch cannot touch.
Starch Magic is available in gallons, four-gallon cases, five-gallon pails and
15-gallon drums.
