WFI plans fall conference at Wisconsin Dells resort
The recently renovated Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells will host the Wisconsin Fabricare Institute’s fall conference next month.
The resort has undergone $200 million in improvements and features indoor and outdoor water parks, a redesigned 18-hole golf course and world-class dining.
Conference dates are Sept. 11-13 but attendees need to register for their rooms by August 12 to secure the special conference rates.
Speakers and topics for the conference are yet to be determined. Friday’s schedule includes a WFI board of directors meeting and dinner with a cash bar. Business sessions and an allied trades showcase are scheduled for Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon will feature a golf outing at Cold Water Canyon Golf Course. Dinner with a cash bar and door prizes will conclude the scheduled activities.
More business sessions are scheduled for Sunday morning before the closing lunch and adjournment.
Full registration for the convention, which includes all business sessions plus Friday and Saturday evening buffets, Saturday and Sunday breakfast and the Sunday lunch, is $150 for members and $125 for spouses if registered by Sept. 2. After that date, the cost increases by $25.
Individual event and meal rates and special rates for children are also available.
The room rate at the chula Vista resort is $109 a night plus tax. Six water park passes are included with the room reservation.
WFI is seeking sponsors for the hospitality suites and door prizes at the conference. Sponsors can choose Gold Level at $200 or Silver Level at $100. They will be recognized during the Saturday evening dinner, in the conference program on a projected image between business sessions and in Impressions, the association’s publication.
