Robert McIntyre, Firbimatic service manager

Robert “Bob” McIntyre, national service technician for Firbimatic drycleaning machines, passed away on July 26. He was 50 years old.

McIntyre joined the Air Force in 1979 and remained on active duty as an aircraft electrician until 1983. He joined Fluormatic, a drycleaning machine company in Villa Park, IL, as the national service technician in 1985.

In 2001 McIntyre took a position as national service manager of Firbimatic, a drycleaning machine importer in Illinois. He assisted drycleaners in the Chicago area and across the country, applying the knowledge gained from his years of experience working for drycleaning machine manufacturers.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and three sons, Derek, Billy and Ricky.
