Dual method drycleaning machine
NORTHVALE, NJ — The Multimatic AirStar drycleaning machine, introduced during the 2009 Clean Show, features a dual cleaning method that provides both full immersion and spray jet cleaning.
Designed for use with
environmentally friendly alternative solvents, it also includes many other features for cost-saving, efficient operation.
Available in 40- and 65-lb. capacities, the machines require no water, resulting in reduced utility costs, and can be used with or without steam.
Two separate filter systems, one for “darks” and one for “lights,” and a high efficiency air cooling system help to assure outstanding cleaning results with a variety of alternative solvents. Refrigerated solvent cooling is available on air-cooled models and distillation is not required on any Multimatic AirStar machine.
The Multimatic MultiComp III Computer is standard on all models and makes operation of the machines extremely simple. Multimatic AirStar machines feature stainless steel construction and are designed for simple, easy installation.

Large capacity boilers available in U.S.
PULASKI, NY — Fulton has expanded distribution of the company’s horizontal firetube steam and hot water boilers up to 800hp to include the United States.
The horizontal firetube boilers feature a three-pass wet-back design and are offered with an open protocol burner with a pressure rating up to 300 psig MAWP. Fulton has partnered with several burner manufactures to create a high horsepower boiler that is also equipped with state-of-the-art controls.
A programmable logic controller boiler control system shows operators the current boiler status. This control was developed by Fulton’s engineering staff to provide high-tech display parameters for burner firing rate, stack temperature, steam pressure, boiler water temperature and stack oxygen levels.
The module also displays status of the boiler feed water pumps, de-aerator water temperature and boiler water level. Using this module, an operator can closely match and maintain boiler performance with system requirements.
The horizontal firetube boiler will complement other steam boiler and steam-related equipment currently offered by Fulton. These larger boilers deliver steam and hot water solutions for a number of process related manufacturing industries, including large industrial/commercial laundries.
Fulton offers all horizontal firetube steam and hot water boilers in a variety of trim options, completely customized and configured to best meet individual customers’ unique job-specific needs.
Fulton has manufactured horizontal firetube steam and hot water boilers for more than a decade in the global market, but this marks the first time the company is offering boilers of this kind and size to the U.S. market.

Brochure on Rope Ties
South Pasadena, FL — A new brochure from MBH explains how drycleaners who process shirts, as well as wholesale shirt laundry operators, can cut costs with the MBH Rope-Tie System.
The system eliminates the need to scrub collars, ends shaking out shirts, stops tangled sleeves in the wash and assures faster unloading of the washer. The MBH system also delivers significant savings by cutting sorting/assembly time 50 to 75 percent or more and saves 25 to 33.3 percent of the cost of water, sewage, supplies and labor when washing shirts.
The brochure also includes testimonials from respected drycleaners and an endorsement from noted authority Don Desrosiers.

Media kit for laundry system
KANSAS CITY, MO —The Faultless By Nature Laundry System is supported by a media kit that was professionally developed to let customers set themselves apart from vague green claims made by other companies. With an official plaque, window decals, posters, hanger tags, and official logos, retail consumers see they are not dealing with an ordinary laundry. Since the system’s formulas were developed under the requirements of the U.S. EPA and its “Design for The Environment” Partnership (DfE) and because many of the promotional materials contain the official U.S EPA DfE logo, there are requirements for end-users to take advantage of this program.
