Obituary
Charles Schultz
Proprietor of Schultz Steam Service
He opened Schultz Steam Service in 1949, a humble beginning in Elizabeth, NJ, and was assisted by his wife, Beverly, who handed out flyers to
drycleaners, encouraging potential customers. His career spanned three
generations and included major installations at West Point, the Rahway
Correctional Facility, and many other high-profile industrial facilities in the tri-state region.
He was respected for his vast knowledge of the industry he represented, his integrity and honesty as a professional,” said his daughter, Barbara. “He earned the love and admiration from all who have been fortunate enough to make his acquaintance.”
“We remember going to work with him on days off from school,” she added. “It was wonderful being with him, helping him where we could. We remember his
amazing work ethic and the pride we felt at the respect he commanded by his mere presence from his customers and employees alike as he would direct the men who worked for him from one task to the next.”
In addition to his wife and daughter, he is survived by two other children,
Fritzi and Philip; a brother, Meyer; and 10 grandchildren and 39 great
grandchildren.
