55-lb. soft-mount washer-extractor
OSHKOSH, WI — Continental Girbau, Inc. has introduced the 55-pound capacity E-Series, a
soft-mount washer-extractor engineered to reduce operating costs through
decreased gas, water and electricity consumption.

E-Series Washers consume less water than traditional frontload washers and offer
high-speed extract reaching up to 354 G-force. By comparison, hard-mount
washers only reach 80-150 G-force extract speeds. As a result, E-Series Washers
remove more water from each load, which reduces the time and utility costs
required to dry a load of laundry by as much as 50 percent.
Because laundry takes less time to dry, drying tumblers and linens experience
less wear and tear, which improves the longevity of linens and towels as well
as dryers.
As freestanding machines, E-Series Washers can be installed without bolts and
special reinforced concrete foundations. E-Series Washers can be installed in
unconventional locations including areas with wood floors and second-story
laundries with little or no floor preparation and cost.
The new washer features Continental’s Intelligent (Inteli) Control which delivers 20 pre-programmed cycles and up to
79 individually modifiable cycles. By customizing programs according to
specific load type, the Inteli shortens the time required to process a load.
Despite the advanced technology, the controls are simple to use. Once the
programs are set, operators simply select a program number and push start.

LIVONIA, MI — Hamilton Engineering has announced its Companion indirect water heating
package.
The package is available in inputs ranging from 129,000 BTU to 299,000 BTU/hr
and with storage capacities up to 119 gallons as standard stock. Custom
indirect packages are available in any capacity.
This design carries a 15-year conditional warranty for the heater, due to
failures caused by poor water conditions.
