New owners take helm at Royaltone
Carl and Lori Randall are the new owners of the Royaltone Co., the Tulsa, OK, leather cleaning and training company founded by Frank Lucenta 40 years ago.
The Randalls come to the industry with more than 20 years of manufacturing and business experience.
“Royaltone manufactures quality products and has an impeccable reputation in the industry,” said Carl Randall. “I also saw the uniqueness of the leather cleaning line as a real plus.”
Under the new ownership, Royaltone won’t undergo any drastic changes but some smaller ones are in the works.
The Randalls will be updating the website and marketing materials as well as working more diligently with distributors to better serve their customers.
“We know the products are top notch, we just need to do a better job at getting the word out,” Randall said.
Royaltone will continue offering its full line of drycleaning and laundry detergents and spotters. “Those products have been around for 40 years and have stood the test of time,“ Randall said. “We definitely won’t be changing any formulations. The chemistry is solid and the products work beautifully.”
“We will also be releasing a DVD of the Royaltone Leather Cleaning Academy in the near future,” he added. “This way plant owners who just don’t have the time or resources to come to a live class can still learn this highly profitable technique on their own time.”
Company founder Frank Lucenta will continue teaching classes at the Suedemate Leather Cleaning Center in Tulsa, OK.
