Exhibit space has been selling fast and now hotel reservations are open for
Clean 2011 which will be held next June 6-9 in Las Vegas, NV.
Encouraged by early booth sales, show management anticipates that approximately
10,000 to 12,000 people from around the world will attend Clean 2011. That
would be an improvement over the last Clean Show, which was held in New Orleans
in June 2009 with 9,902 attendees. In 2007, when the Clean Show was last held
in Las Vegas, 14,667 attended.
Clean 2011’s theme is “The Show That Works.” With hundreds of pieces of working equipment, dozens of hours of educational
seminars and innumerable networking opportunities, the Clean Show is a prime
venue for finding ways to improve a company’s business.
Those planning to attend can grab a hotel room now at any of the 11 hotels with
which the Clean Show has negotiated special rates. These include Bally’s, Caesar’s Palace, Flamingo, Harrah’s, Imperial Palace, Las Vegas Hilton, The Mirage, Paris, Planet Hollywood,
Riviera, and Wynn Las Vegas.
The show’s co-sponsoring trade associations already have selected their headquarters
hotels.
Paris will serve as headquarters for the Drycleaning and Laundry Institute; the
Coin Laundry Association will be at Bally’s; the Textile Care Allied Trades Association and the Textile Rental Services
Association will headquarter at the Las Vegas Hilton, the hotel nearest to the
convention center; and the Association for Linen Management will be at Planet
Hollywood.
To obtain the show’s special rates, reservations must be made through the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority Housing Service. On the website, www.cleanshow.com, click on either Attendees or Exhibitors, then
scroll down to Hotels & Travel on the left side. Reservations require an arrival and departure date and a
one-night deposit for each room reserved.
More than half of the exhibit space had been sold a year in advance of the show’s opening.
“We are delighted that sales are going so well,” said Jim Thacker, chairman of the Clean Executive Committee and executive
director of the Association for Linen Management. “This appears to be an indication that the industry’s economy is picking up. We want potential exhibitors to know, though, that
there are still many good spaces available.”
The 412 companies that exhibited at Clean ’09 received an exhibitor prospectus for the Las Vegas show in early May.
Mailings to other prospects followed.
Companies interested in exhibiting are encouraged to sign up early for prime
locations on the show floor. A floor plan can be viewed on the show’s website. Booth assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Prospective attendees will begin seeing Clean 2011 information in November when
show registration opens.
The pre-registration fee is $99 a person. On-site registration is $149 a person.
Registration includes entrance to the exhibit hall for the entire show and all
educational sessions.
