Kreussler lists compatible machines
TAMPA, FL — Kreussler, Inc. said its SYSTEMK4, which was launched in 2010 in Milan, Italy, has met with a positive response for its cleaning capabilities. More than 175 cleaners worldwide have installed or converted 200 plus machines for use with System K4 including over 120 machines in the United States and Canada.
The following machine manufacturers are now offering Class IIIa machines that are compatible and optimized for SYSTEMK4:
Böwe Textile.
Columbia/ILSA.
EasyClean/Permac.
Firbimatic.
Multimatic.
OasisAsis.
Realstar.
Renzacci.
Union.
The new SYSTEMK4 cleaning machines are specially made to handle the particular SYSTEMK4 agents.
The system includes four components: SOLVONK4 (a halogen-free solvent); a brushing agent; a detergent concentrate; and a water and stain repellant agent.
The basic component of SYSTEMK4 is formed in such to pose no threat to the air, water, people or soil. Kreussler said the solvent has the same cleaning effect as perchloroethylene, to some extent even better, while it is neither a hazardous material nor a hazardous substance, according to the current laws in Europe, and it is approved for use in the United States and Canada. These products enable SYSTEMK4 drycleaners to meet the variety of cleaning needs of today’s textiles.

Patent for silicone padding
Mahwah, NJ — Air World Inc. has received a patent for its silicone flannel padding which was introduced in the market approximately six years ago.
The U.S. Patent No. 8,062,742 issued on November 22, 2011 covers the method for manufacturing silicone foam having an air permeable structure.
The silicone flannel which was developed by Sam Oh, president of Air World, has proven to significantly enhance pressing quality, reduce button breakage and improve vacuum capacity on shirt units. Other benefits have been recognized in laundry pressing applications on hot head presses.
Air World can provide references for prospective buyers to contact for feedback from cleaners who have switched from traditional nylon flannel padding to the new silicone flannel padding.
The silicone flannel padding provides a compliment to the Air World Press Pad and Grid Plate Line. Air World Products are available for purchase through fine distributors throughout the country.

Microorganisms break down organic matter to eliminate odor
RIDGEFIELD, NJ — Team Products, LLC, is introducing Dc500, a drycleaning and laundry treatment concentrate that uses a microorganism solution to eliminate any odor stemming from hydrocarbon solvents used in modern drycleaning machines. It can also be used to eliminate odor from perc systems and in laundry.
Effective Microorganisms (EM) cleanses and revitalizes by breaking down organic matter.
For drycleaning, it can be added daily for one to three days into the button trap and water separator to eliminate bad odor and bacteria. Then it can be mixed with the general solvent detergent for use in hydrocarbon or perc systems.
In laundry, two ounces can be added with the normal amount of detergent for a 50-lb. load.
It can also be mixed with the existing laundry pre-treatment or detergent and used as a scrub solution for shirt collars where it will remove not only odor but also is effective on heavily soiled areas.
Professor Dr. Teruo Higa developed EM which consists of a variety of beneficial and non-pathogenic microorganisms produced through a natural process and not chemically synthesized or genetically engineered. It comes in a liquid form.
EM has a broad application and has no adverse effects and is beneficial to plants, animals and humans. It lives off of waste while its waste translates to a healthy environment in which EM becomes inactivated, therefore, a mutual benefit can be had.
Microorganisms exist naturally throughout the environment from rock crevices to internal organs. In the present environment, putrefactive microorganisms — the types responsible for the rotting of organic matter to maladies in organisms — dominate much of the sphere of the microorganisms.
EM has the potential to suppress the putrefactive microorganisms and create re-animated surroundings; that is, organics are transformed through the process of fermentation as opposed to putrefaction, and living organisms, as well as, inorganic materials, are given the means to impede deterioration, the activity of active oxygen or free-radicals through which organisms degenerate and inorganic materials corrode. EM can therefore be considered an antioxidant.
