MfM groups for DLI members
The Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI) and Methods for Management (MfM) are working together to offer management groups for members in non-competing areas.
The program forms peer groups of DLI members to create the competitive advantage of information and strategy sharing with an eye on sustained prosperity and growth.
“We are very happy to announce we are working with Diana Vollmer and her company, Methods for Management, an independent consulting business with specialties in the drycleaning industry,” said DLI CEO Mary Scalco.
“This new program is specifically designed for DLI members. Some key areas of focus will be improving processing efficiency, profit, and cash flow,” she explained.
Member groups of up to 12 cleaners wil be formed within a geographic area that allows for convenient travel to meetings. Participation is limited to one member from any market.
At quarterly meetings, the group, with assistance from MfM, will discuss, design and implement such topics as incentive pay plans; profit improvement and strategic planning; plant processing efficiency and engineering designs; financial and cash flow improvements; branding growth strategies.
For more information, call DLI at (800) 638-2627.
