Free admission at NCA’s Texcare
Cleaners will have plenty of reasons to attend the National Cleaners Association’s Texcare 2013 trade show and exhibit in October, including free admission and free parking.
The event is scheduled for Oct. 19 and 20 at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, NJ, just outside of New York City
“Free admission and free parking are not the only reasons Texcare has such a great drycleaner turnout,” noted Ann Hargrove, NCA’s director of special projects. “We also have just about every industry manufacturer or supplier a drycleaner could ever need on the show floor. It’s a great opportunity for cleaners to find new vendors and ideas, or simply cement bonds with existing suppliers.”
In addition to live demonstrations and the latest drycleaning products and services on the show floor, NCA has scheduled free educational offerings that will focus on real world problems and concerns that plant owners face these days.
Jason Loeb of Sudsies.com in Miami, Florida, will tell his story of how he built his couture cleaning service up from scratch with big bottom line that benefits from offering such a service.
Helping to turn a small mom-and-pop operation into a multi-million dollar operation, Loeb utilized radical marketing strategies and service enhancements that he will talk about during his program. He also will discuss how he focussed on getting existing customers to spend more money to grow sales.
Other NCA programs will focus on topics such as Obamacare, employee problems, attracting new customers, making more money and handling problem garments.
“Although pundits say the economy is coming back, cleaners are still faced with the problems associated with actually making money and then protecting the money they’ve made, so that’s where the seminar topics are designed to help them,” said NCA Board of Directors President Bob Saeed.
Prior to Texcare, NCA will offer a pre-show all-day educational event on Friday, Oct. 18 featuring Claude Whitacre, a best-selling author and successful small retail business entrepreneur who will share his number-one secret on how to attract new customers.
Whitacre is the CEO of Local Profit Geyser, a company that shares his successful marketing ideas, strategies and tactics that he used to build his own small business.
Limited seating is available at the seminars. NCA recommends pre-registering as soon as possible. For more information on signing up, as well as special conventions rates that are available at the nearby Embassy Suites and Holiday Inn hotels, contact Ann Hargrove at (800) 888-1622.
