Obituary
David Berardi
Owner of M&L Supply Co.
David Michael Berardi died peacefully in his sleep Nov. 16 surrounded by his family.
He was born to Albert and Annita Berardi on March 20, 1949 in Akron, Ohio.
He was an owner of M & L Supply Co. where he had worked
for 40 years. The company, originally formed in 1937, was
expanded by his father, Albert Berardi, to become a leading
distributor of laundry and drycleaning equipment, supplies,
parts, and service in Northeastern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania,
and Northern West Virginia. David Bernardi, along with his
borther, John Bernardi, and brother-in-law, Stephen Michalec,
have owned and managed the company in recent years.
David Berardi was a graduate of Ohio State University, an
avid and talented golfer and had an appreciation for cars and
music. He was known for his devotion to his family, having a
great sense of humor, and appreciation for the simple things in life. He was a man of wit,
intelligence, kindness, and courage.
He is survived by mother, Annita Berardi; his wife of 41 years, Adele Berardi; his sons,
David J. Berardi and Matthew Berardi; a brother, John Berardi; a sister, Debra Michalec; two
grandchildren, Nicholas and Gia Berardi; and many nieces, nephews, family, and close
friends.
A memorial mass was held Nov. 22 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton, OH. The
